I was hired into an organization to oversee sales in the Eastern Region. SLS Coaching & Consulting helped me navigate through the organization and quickly I became the VP of Sales for an internationally recognized industry leading company. The strategic focus and team dynamics of my division at the time were muddled and there were many issues integrating sales with manufacturing, with customer service and with the remote operational divisions - all of which had been naddressed and historically present. Sandi Stewart conducted several work style assessments and worked with the staff and myself to identify cross-functional issues. She then conducted a one-day retreat bringing the entire team together around the issues; demonstrating to us our communication styles and revealed our team dynamics relative to ourselves and other departments leading to subsequent improvement of those interactions. While, like all businesses, we have had our challenges recently.... our improved communication and understanding of, and attention to, cross functional issues has helped us make the most of every business opportunity and has been integrated into our go forward plan.
